Terms of Service

Welcome to Flavorites. By using the Flavorites mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Flavorites. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may sign in using Apple, Google, or email. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account details up to date.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on Flavorites, including restaurant picks, photos, reviews, and comments ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Flavorites a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the App and related marketing materials.

You agree not to post content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Spam, misleading, or fraudulent
• Infringing on another person's intellectual property rights
• Sexually explicit or promoting violence

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Flavorites may offer optional premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions ("Flavorites Pro"). Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed via your Apple account settings.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device Settings
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App. This includes but is not limited to:

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Using automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App
• Impersonating another person or entity
• Interfering with or disrupting the App's functionality

6. Intellectual Property

The Flavorites name, logo, design, and all original content within the App are the property of Flavorites and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including Firebase (Google), Apple MapKit, and RevenueCat. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimers

Flavorites is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of restaurant information, user reviews, or recommendations displayed in the App. Restaurant details such as hours, pricing, and menus are sourced from third parties and may not always be current.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flavorites shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the App settings or by contacting support@flavorites.xyz.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
